Kindly reply
A reply card, refined.
The reply card is how your headcount comes together. A clear card — name, accept or decline, how many attending and a reply-by date — makes it easy for guests and easy for you to tally.
Match the theme to your save-the-date and invitation for a coordinated suite. Prefer online replies? Collect them on a free wedding website and they flow straight into your guest list.
Questions
RSVP questions.
What should a wedding RSVP card include?
A reply card usually has a line for the guest’s name (the “M” line), a way to accept or decline, the number attending, and a reply-by date. You can add a menu-choice line too. The maker above includes all of these.
What is the “M” line on an RSVP card?
The “M” starts the guest’s title — Mr, Mrs, Ms or Miss — which they complete with their name. It is a traditional, elegant way to ask who is replying.
When should the RSVP deadline be?
Set the reply-by date about three to four weeks before the wedding, so you have time to finalise numbers with your caterer and build the seating chart. The card lets you print your chosen date.
Can I collect RSVPs online instead?
Yes — many couples do both. You can collect online replies on a free wedding website, which flow straight into your guest list, while still offering printed cards for guests who prefer them.
