02

Choose flat cards or folded tent cards, A4 or US Letter, and a colour theme that suits your day.
-
03
Download the PDF
Export a clean, print-ready PDF — two cards per row, names auto-sized to fit.
-
04
Print and cut
Print on cardstock, cut along the card edges, and you are done. No signup, no watermark.
Questions
Place card questions.
How do I make wedding place cards for free?
Paste your guest list into the tool above — one name per line — and optionally add each guest's table after a vertical bar, like "Jane Smith | Table 3". Pick a theme and a card style, then download a print-ready PDF. There is no signup and no watermark.
Can I make place cards from a spreadsheet or Excel?
Yes. Export your guest list as CSV from Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers and use the Import CSV button, or copy the columns and paste them straight in — names go in the first column and the table in the second. The tool turns each row into a place card.
What is the difference between flat and folded place cards?
Flat cards are single stand-up or place-setting cards. Folded (tent) cards crease in the middle so the name reads from both sides of the table — the tool prints the name twice, mirrored, with a fold line down the centre. Choose whichever suits your setting.
What paper should I print place cards on?
Print on white or cream cardstock (about 250–300 gsm) for a sturdy card that stands up. Choose A4 or US Letter to match your printer, print, then cut along the card edges. Two cards print per row.
Is the place card maker really free?
Yes — free, no signup, no watermark. It is one of a set of free wedding tools. Build your guest list in the full planner and you can generate place cards, table numbers and a seating chart straight from your real RSVPs.
